Title: photoelectric effect
Question: The photoelectric current does not depend up on the frequency of incident photon. But my question is that , if the frequency increases the kinetic energy of the electron also increases. Then the electrons in the tube moves faster to the positive electrode .The motion of the electron helps the accumulation in the anode and the charge crossing the area with in a very short interval of time.Why didn\'t we botherd about this matter?

    There is an extinction voltage corresponds to the maximum photoelectron kinetic energy.

    The Two graph plotted 1.By taking frequency constant and 2. taking light intensity constant
    "(photoelectron current) versus (Retarding Potential)"
    give you a correct picture.
